Fireworks!

We had so much fun last night at the fireworks show here on base. They do a fantastic job every year! How lucky are we that we're close enough to the venue that we could even walk if we chose to? Military life has it's benefits :)

The boys had a blast with their friends and Vivienne, who I was worried would cry with all of the noise, just laughed and laughed through the whole thing! Not sure why she found it so funny but you couldn't help but smile right along with her.

I learned something last night too- that you really DO need to use a tripod when taking pictures of fireworks. Wow, I guess all those people who write tutorials on the internet actually know what they're talking about! (<---duh) My pictures came out all jiggly and zig-zaggy, horrible camera shake even though I was careful to not even breathe while I held the shutter down, haha. Live and learn I guess. I told *J* before we left that I didn't want to look like a dork setting up a tripod in the middle of all the fun, but it turned out the girl sitting next to me broke hers out right after we got there ;) Oh well. Here are some pix anyway! Because I can never leave a post here without pictures... Hope you all had a great holiday!

Camera shake much?

Alright that's enough. I literally took 100-something pictures and could probably go on forever. I get a little excited about the 4th, can you tell?
